California Proposition 65, also known as The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide warnings on and with their products about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. By law, a warning must be given for Proposition-65-listed chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects/reproductive toxicity.
